Only a few kilometres from La Scogliera!
Only 10 minutes away by car from La Scogliera, or by bus, you can visit the Comune of Chiavari with its delightful historical town centre, its arcades and characteristic narrow lanes. The centre is entirely traffic-free and full of shops and typical restaurants and – besides the historical buildings and beautiful 16th century churches – there is also the Botanical Garden of Palazzo Rocca. Don’t miss the greenhouses – the most well-known of which is called “La Bananiera” and behind the palace there is a beautiful italianate garden where special events are often organised.
Each month there is an antiques market and a spice market held in the town, as well as frequent concerts, exhibitions, etc.
